Provide senior Continuity staff planning and program support services to the Department of
Defense, CIO, National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) Office to ensure resilient and
reliable National and Mission Essential Functions. Manage interagency coordination on assigned
continuity policies and programs. Interact with and directly support GS-14 / GS-15 / SES / Flag
officers with coordination packages, briefings, programs, and operations. Pay commensurate

Experience working in the defense sector with U.S. Department of Defense or other
Government agencies, preferably on a Secretary, Joint or Service Staff
Familiarity with the National Continuity Plan: planning, implementation and assessment of
continuity programs that enable federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial and (SLTT)
governments to continue performance of essential functions and deliver critical services
across all-hazards when normal operations are disrupted.
Familiarity with the Defense Continuity Policy and Programs throughout OSD, the
Services, Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS/JCS), the Combatant Commands, the Office of the DoD
Inspector General, DoD Agencies, Field Activities, and all other organizational entities
within the DoD. (DoD Directive 3020.26(D)).
Experience providing senior AO level support in the U.S. Department of Defense or other
Government Departments or Agencies.
Demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain positive customer relationships
Strong skills and experience in interfacing with and briefing Government senior leadership
Effective communication/presentation, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work extended hours when required for critical events or national crises.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in professional continuity related staff positions
U.S. Citizenship, DoD TOP Secret Clearance, eligible for SCI.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or National Security Policy
