Capabilities Eagle Horizon Group can provide the following EHF/AEHF support capabilities either directly or through coordination with other outside Government or Contractor supported agencies: A. Provide Field Support Representative (FSR)/Field Service Engineer (FSE) support on assigned AEHF/EHF Terminals. B. On-Site training support for operations and Maintenance of SMART-T Terminals. C. Yearly Mobile Depot Maintenance (MDM) support to each user as follows: 1) Identify Corrosion issues. 2) Provide terminal and Spares Inventory support. 3) Test operation of assigned terminals. 4) Identify training deficiencies and discuss terminal employment tactics. 5) Perform a complete terminal inspection. 6) Provide terminal inspection reports to unit representatives with recommended corrective actions. D. Provide 24/7 telephonic support to the user community. E. Provide coordination or direct support for Depot level repair actions on an as needed basis to minimize terminal downtimes. F. Provide coordination with Program Managers (both Government and Contractor) if a repair action is of such a nature that a field technician cannot repair at the operator level. G. Work with units to develop terminal employment tactics for disaster preparedness and recovery operations, in both stressed and non-stressed environments.
Rae Ohlert is the founder of Eagle Horizon Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned HUBZone certified consulting firm with an emphasis on emergency management planning, exercise and training. Projects have included continuity support, systems audit and modernization for critical EOC, training and exercises for US Health and Human Services (HHS), continuity planning for the Pentagon’s Defense Continuity and Crisis Management (DCCM) Office and exercises under DHS/FEMA’s National Exercise Program (NEP). Rae Ohlert was the Program Manager for Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities for the US Department of Labor. In this capacity she managed emergency response and preparedness planning, and developed linkages between the Department’s national response plan programs and continuity of operation programs. As the COOP Program manager she was also responsible for developing requirements for and ensuring the effectiveness of training programs and courses related to emergency management and continuity of operations. She attended the University of North Texas and graduated cum laude with a BS in Emergency Administration and Disaster Planning in 1993. She has completed coursework for a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and is a Certified Floodplain Manger, a DRII Certified Business Continuity Professional, a FEMA certified Master Trainer, Master Exercise Practitioner, a Master Professional Continuity Practitioner level 2, and a HAZUS Practitioner.

H. Assist units with developing a logistics plan to support terminals in both stressed and non-stressed environments. I. Educate users on the anti-jam capability and interoperability with other types of AEHF/EHF terminals such as the Shipboard Navy Multi-Band Terminal, Shipboard AN/USC-38 terminal, Air Force Command Post Terminal (fixed, Airborne and ground mobile), AN/PSC- 11 SCAMP terminal, as well as the soon to be fielded FAB-T (Family of Advanced Beyond Site Terminal) and global Ascent system (formerly GEMS). J. Coordinate terminal hardware and software upgrades with terminal program Managers (both Government and Contractor). K. Provide terminal Endorsement assistance on an as needed basis. L. Short notice travel to locations requiring immediate assistance for operation, training and maintenance support. M. Provide other SATCOMM support assistance on an as requested basis.
